Miniature dollhouse addiction!

Ok, so i've been known to be a bit OCD and I struggle to finish one project before I am tip toeing off to find the next but, have you guys tried building a miniature dollhouse? I want to play with it every chance I get.

Well, my Lil Boo was due for her 6th birthday last April. As we were rummaging through Hobby Lobby, she laid eyes on this large hobby dollhouse and I think we both began to jump up and down while yelling "can we have it?, can we have it?! Once I realized I was the  only adult there, I regained my composure and told her "we'll see"! A few days later my boyfriend came walking in the door with a large box. Yeah!! Lil Boo and I were so excited that we got right to it. Obviously, Lil Boo only lasted a few minutes once she saw the contents of the box.
After about 3 weeks I began to wonder if I should have pulled a building permit for this thing? Holy Cow! It's now July and I have finally completed the exterior and recently moved on to the kitchen and nursery.

I want to show you the wood flooring that I made from wide craft sticks that I clipped the ends off of. I then
painted each one with a gloss Mod Podge. Finally, placed them in alternating lengths with my fabulous "3in1" glue.  My chandelier was made with jewelry wire and beads. However, it took a few days before that wire and I could come to an agreement.  Ughhh... They always seem to make those tutorials look amateur. Well , I just about declared war on that chandelier! The arm chair is a tutorial from 1inchminisbykris.blogspot.com. I could doodle on her blog for days! As you can see I have a ways to go before adding my finishing touches.  The walls look jacked up because everything I put up, I rip down. I can't seem to make up my mind. I plan to post the kitchen in the next few days along with DIY appliances. I also used hardwood floors, except I stained with a dark walnut! I'll shush and let you get creative! If you have any questions, please feel free. Thanks for stopping by to check out my blog and don't worry about Lil Boo. We have plans to get her a much smaller house to start out with and mommy pinky promises not to touch it;) "Ey!! zebras do not hang on chandeliers! It's my dollhouse now!"
Until next time, thanks everyone.
